Autobiography of a watch

My job is to tell everyone the importance of time. In today's fast paced time everyone is doing their work by looking at me again and again. Friends I am a clock. I am posted on the wall of a private office. Every person who walks into this office looks at me. I can also see what is going on on all four sides.

My color is red and I am very beautiful in appearance. I was trained in a watch factory. Made me using plastic, steel etc. After this some people from there brought me to the market along with other watches. I was referred to a famous watch shop in the market. The shopkeeper kept me in a glass case with other watches. During the day many customers used to come to that shop to buy watches. But for about 10 to 15 days I only saw customers. No one was buying me.

One evening a rich and handsome young man came to that shop. As soon as he arrived, his eyes fell on me. The man was the owner of a large company and while shopping in the market, he realized that his office needed a clock. He asked the shopkeeper to pack me. He put me in the back seat of the car and took me to his office. He told his soldier to place me on a high place so that all eyes would be on me.

I have been here ever since the soldier hung me in front of the main door of the office. Everyone here is busy with their work. Unfortunately for the past few days I have run out of cells and my speed has slowed down and I lost track of time. But people look at me and immediately take out their mobile phones and check the time because this watch is broken. But no one is stooping down to correct me. After all, what else can I do but hang around and wait?
