My favorite animal is the elephant

There are two types of elephants on earth. African and Asian. African elephants are larger than Asian elephants. As elephants are herbivores, they depend on forest and shrubs for their food requirements.

Due to increasing population and deforestation, elephants are facing shortage of food and shelter. Due to this, elephants often enter the village near the forest. Elephant is a calm and intelligent animal and is also very useful for humans. But these days elephants are being killed illegally to extract expensive tusks and other important parts of the body, it is not right to do so, the government has made tough laws to prevent this incident. But it is the duty of all the citizens that they should protect the wild animals and if anyone is doing animal killing, he should be stopped.
