My favorite bird Peacock

Many species of birds and birds are found all over the world. Some birds are so beautiful and captivating that one wants to keep looking at their beauty. I also like bird watching. My favorite bird is peacock. Peacock is the national bird of India. Peacock is beautiful and attractive in appearance. It cannot fly very high, so it stays on the ground forever.

Peacock is bigger than other birds. It has attractive wings on its body. These feathers are called morpis. Peacock is famous all over the world for its beautiful feathers. Peacocks dance with their feathers on rainy days. This dance of the peacock captivates the mind and keeps the viewer watching its dance. A peacock weighs up to 5 kg. His whole body is blue.

Peacocks are found all over India. They mostly live near rivers and other water bodies. Peacocks fly very little, flying from branch to branch or from bank to bank only when its life is in danger. Peacocks like to eat grains, leaves, fruits, insects, snakes, sails as food.

Peacocks often damage crops in rural areas. So farmers are taking different measures to drive them away. Peacocks make their home on the ground, they use tree branches and wooden sticks on the ground to build the house. They lay 3 to 5 eggs at a time.

Peacock is very attractive and every person likes to see peacock. Peacock is the national bird not only of India but also of Myanmar. And my favorite bird is peacock.
