My favorite game Kho Kho

My favorite game is Khokho which is one of the popular games in India. Like Kabaddi, Khokho is a traditional game of our country. The game of Kho Kho has been played since ancient times. Baroda city is believed to be the birthplace of Kho Kho. The game is popular in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Punjab along with Gujarat. This game does not require any kind of expensive equipment to play. That is why some people believe that Khokho is a poor man's game. But if Kho Kho had remained a poor man's game, it would not have become so popular in India.

Today the game of Kho Kho is played in villages. I like to play many sports like hockey, football, cricket, badminton etc. But the game that I love the most out of all of them is Kho Kho. Khokho is a very adventurous game. There is also a possibility of injury to the body while playing this sport. But playing in soft sand can prevent more injuries. I have been fond of playing Kho Kho since childhood. You could even say that half of my childhood was spent playing Kho Kho. And I have often gone to the district level to play Kho Kho. I am known as a good player in Kho Kho. And for this I have received many awards and trophies.

The game of Kho Kho is very easy to play. This game has very few rules. There are two teams in the game of Kho Kho. Each team consists of 9 members. It is very important to have enthusiasm in the player who plays this game. Kho Kho requires a field 111 feet long and 51 feet wide to play. On either side of the field, wooden poles 4-4 feet high are placed leaving a little space. While playing Kho Kho, 8 players of any one team sit in a row facing each other in the middle of these pillars. And the players of the other team fall. This game is played in an open field.

I love playing Kho Kho with my friends. Playing Khokho brings me joy. Playing Kho Kho has many health benefits. Playing Kho Kho strengthens the bones of the body. Playing this game improves thinking ability. Life feels less stressful. I feel very energetic after playing Kho Kho. Everyone should play Kho Kho as there are many benefits of playing Kho Kho in this manner.
