Autobiography of a Farmer

I was born to provide food for the human beings living on earth..! Friends I am a farmer. My life is harder than others. But I still try to find joy in the little things and be happy. I have to get up earlier in the morning and go to the farm than other people. My farm is not just a piece of land, but everything to me. I can't live a single moment without him. Just as a parent nurtures their child, I cultivate the field and fertilize it.

More than half of my life is spent on the farm. My job is to work day and night in the field to grow grain. Becoming a farmer is not an easy task. The life of a farmer is full of hardships. I have to work hard and honestly for 12 months straight without taking a single day off. My bullocks also help a lot in my farm work. I work in the field from morning till evening. Walking in the sun all day makes my feet crack like the ground. But I am not worried about this at all, because I know that the fruits of my hard work will bring happiness in my life.

In cold days, people sleep under tight blankets. But I have to go to the field in the cold night to protect the crop and water the crop. Sometimes I get fever due to overwork. My health deteriorates.

My situation was good earlier. Because inflation was low then. I was getting two meals a day. But today my condition is very bad. Today, the price of seeds required for planting in the field has increased. Prices of pesticides and other agricultural inputs are also increasing. In such a case I have to take money from someone usanvar.

I sow the field before the rains. After that I have to go to the farm every day to work and guard. Crops need water to grow so I wait for rain. But my luck is very bad. Sometimes it rains heavily and sometimes it doesn't rain at all. This causes a lot of damage to my crops. As all the crops were wasted, I was in debt. It becomes difficult to support my family. Our life was worse than that of a beggar. But I don't sit around hoping that someone will help.

Once again I start working hard. Then the day dawns when I reap the fruits of my labor and my fields once again flourish. Seeing this crop makes my heart so happy. People all over the world call me food giver. But it is very sad that when I am in trouble, no one comes forward to help me. Many farmers like me get tired of life and commit suicide.

I do not hesitate to work hard in a crisis. I worship the field as God. My only wish is that the government as well as other people like you stand by me during my difficult times and provide my family with two meals a day if not more.
