Summer

Summer is one of the three seasons of the year. Although this season is the hottest season of the year, children love this season the most compared to other seasons. Because during this season schools and colleges get summer vacations. These summer holidays are enjoyed in different ways. In summer, the Earth is most inclined towards the Sun. Summer is the hottest and driest season. During this season, hot winds blow in the afternoon and evening.

Summer is my favorite time of the year. Our school summer vacations are 60 days after the annual examination. These holidays start from 15th of April and last till 15th of June. The purpose of these vacations is to provide students with relaxation, entertainment and learning new things from school life.

I go to my uncle's, aunt's and grandmother's house during summer vacations. I celebrate by going to different villages. I travel from village to village for about 15-20 days. After this, after returning to your home, playing and having fun starts every day. I love to play sports like badminton, cricket, football etc. I play these games every evening with my friends during the long summer vacation. In summer, the weather is cool only in the morning, so we wake up early in the morning and take a morning walk.

In the afternoon, there is no desire to go out as the sun is hot outside. Then at that time I watch my favorite cartoons on TV in a cooler lounge. The fun of watching TV in the cold air is different. Apart from this, I do a lot of fun things during the summer. A hearty breakfast in the morning and evening, chilled watermelon cut by mom in the afternoon, chilled lemon sherbet, lassi and ice cream with dad in the evening all cheer me up. Mango juice is made in our house every year during holidays. Mango is my favorite fruit. I love drinking mango and mango juice.

Last summer vacation I thought about learning to skate. Skating is an interesting sport. My father made me take skating lessons. Soon I became proficient in this game. Every year I learn something new to make the most of this summer vacation.

Summer period gives a long break from our daily boring life. These holidays also inspire us to learn a lot. We often visit cool places to spend our summer vacations. We have spent days camping by the sea, mountains and other cold places. My father has also made a plan to go to Singapore next year.

The purpose of summer vacations is for students to relax but during this time we can also learn a lot. Students who are weak in studies can use these vacations to learn new things. Reading new books and novels can be very helpful to increase general knowledge during this time. Summer vacations are very useful for your overall development. That's why my favorite season is summer.
