 The culture of every country is visible in their festivals.


All festivals spread joy in life. From festivals to children, everyone swings with happiness. That is why festivals are celebrated everywhere in our India.


      Let's take information about some such festivals.


      Teej-

It is the festival of women. Adolescent girls and newlyweds celebrate it with special gaiety on the third day of Shukla Paksha of Shravan month. Good luck items are exchanged on the occasion of this festival.


On this day girls and newlyweds swing in the gardens or at home. This festival, which echoes the aspirations and woes of women's heart, holds its own special place in Rajasthan.


Rakshabandhan-

This festival is celebrated on the full moon day of Sawan. At some places, Brahmins bless their hosts by tying rakshasutras on their wrists and receive dakshina in return. On the other hand it is a festival to make the bond of brother and sister stronger than the thread of Rakhi. Some glorious events of Rajasthani history are also associated with this festival.


      Ganesh Chaturthi-

Ganesh Chaturthi is a special festival celebrated in Hinduism. The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated every year in the month of August or September according to the English calendar (Chaturthi of Bhadra month according to the Hindi calendar). The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is of 11 days. This festival is the longest festival lasting 11 days. On the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, people bring clay idols of Ganesha to their homes and after worshiping them for 10 days, they immerse Ganesha with pomp on the 11th day.


The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated in different states of the country but is the biggest festival celebrated mainly in Maharashtra. The festival begins with the installation of Ganesh idols in the house and temple on the day of Chaturthi. People bring Ganesh ji idol to their homes with great fanfare by playing drums and drums. A few days before Ganesh Chaturthi, ronak starts in the markets and different types of idols of Ganesha made of clay are found. From Ganesh Chaturthi to the next 10 days, people worship and worship Lord Ganesha in their homes and temples, singing songs, dancing, chanting mantras, performing aarti and offering modaks to Ganesha.


Janmashtami-

This festival is celebrated on the Ashtami of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month. It is the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna. Many people observe a fast on this day, tableaux related to the life of Krishna are also decorated in temples and homes.


    Dussehra-

This festival is celebrated on the tenth day of Shukla Paksha of Kwar (Ashwin) month. It is celebrated all over India in the form of performance of Ramlilas and Ravana-dahan.


      Diwali-

The festival of Diwali is also a nationwide festival. Houses and shops are cleaned and painted and painted to welcome this festival. This festival is a combined festival of several days.


      It is customary to buy new utensils or other household items on Dhanteras. On Diwali, the business class worships their books and accounts. Ganesh and Lakshmi are worshiped at night. It is a festival of joy and prosperity.


Holi-

The festival of Holi is celebrated all over India. Holika Dahan takes place on the full moon of the month of Falgun and on the second day Holi of colors is played. This festival is a festival of embracing everyone dear.

Apart from these Hindu festivals, festivals of other religions are also celebrated with enthusiasm.
