        What is student life? How should a student live in student life? What does the word student mean?

      The word Vidyarthi is made up of two words – Vidya + Arthi. Which means desirous of acquiring knowledge. The goal of the initial period of life is attainment of knowledge, this is called the golden period of life.

      Just as the artisan working in the construction of a strong building carefully builds the foundation, in the same way, it is absolutely necessary to organize the student life for the strong construction of the building of human life. Simple, deceitful, exuberantly swaying in the gusto waves of optimism, this time determines his future. In this stage physical, mental and intellectual powers develop. Life goals are determined by education.

    Successful student adopts social, religious, moral rules, ideals and values   during this period, but nowadays there is no Gurukul education system. Today's student studies in schools. Today there is a lack of strict discipline among the gurus. Today education is associated with wealth. The student understands that he is getting education by giving money.

      There is a lack of respect for the gurus in him. In addition, there is also a dearth of hardworking, dutiful teachers. Moral values   have no place in education. Its purpose is only to pass the exam. Due to these reasons, today's student has become undisciplined, crazy about fashion, a follower of western civilization and away from Indian culture. While discussing the qualities of an ideal student, it has been said that the student should be as eager and curious as a crow. The student should be engaged in the study by paying attention like a heron. He should be aware while sleeping like a dog. For this, they should avoid misogyny and by abandoning laziness, they should try to achieve the goal of student life.

     The present education system is also responsible for the plight of today's student class. So it is necessary to change it. Therefore, qualities like modesty, restraint, obedience should be developed in the students. The student himself should try to develop these qualities. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the educationists to give good values   to the future generation of the country and make them intelligent and conscientious citizens.
