My favorite game is lame/Langdi

Many sports are played in our country of India and around the world. Some of these games are international and some are local. Some sports matches are played at international level while some are played locally by people. Although these games are not recognized, they are popular in their respective areas.

One such famous game is Langdi. Besides being an Indian outdoor sport, Langdi is my favorite sport. In our country, usually boys and girls between the ages of six-seven to thirteen-fourteen are seen playing this game. This game is mostly played by girls. Due to the small playing field, minimal and simple rules, this game is especially popular among children. Today, this game has been conducted as an inter-school competition of primary schools for young children.

Every day I play langdi with my friends from class and village. 12.19 m to play lame. A square playground is made. There is an entrance sign on one side corner of this playground. In this game, the person who has been hit wears a limp. And limply tries to touch 5 to 7 competitors in front of you. A limper is not allowed to put the other foot on the ground. If one of the running players goes out of the field, he is out. And that is how the game is played.

While playing Langdi , the entire weight of the body has to be balanced on one leg. Which increases the balance of the body. All the muscles and joints of the legs are also used in this sport. Which gives them good exercise. Apart from this, one has to run continuously while playing. Which gives exercise to the entire body. Playing Langdi makes me very happy. This sport is very useful for good physical and mental health. After playing lame, I can concentrate on my studies. Langdi game is what keeps my mind balanced and helps me remember my studies.

Besides, there are many reasons why I like lame. This game does not require much space to play. It can also be played in the open space in front of the house. It requires no materials to play. Which doesn't cost anything. In short, Langdi is a zero cost, high profit game. I wish the government should include this sport in national and further international sports.
